Story
I will be running the Great North Run again this year having had a year off in 2013 ! Its good to be back and I would like to raise money for Meningitis Now, recently formed from the merger of Meningitis UK and Meningitis Trust charities.
My run will be in memory of Mark Tanton, to add to the excellent work his family and friends have done in the last 4 years in raising a staggering £36k for research and support of other families affected by this devastating disease. Excellent acheivments have been made by the charity in helping to develop a further vaccine but there is still much ongoing work to do.

My training this year has been consisted of frequent short runs but not much at distance so rest assured I will have sore legs at the end of this one !
